Pfister Waagen Bilanciai GmbH has based the modular steel weighbridges on its existing weighbridge series which features modern modular technology. This is the new generation of steel weighbridges: „MSW“ – the versatile model that may be flush or surface-mounted and MÜSW – the mobile model  in the shape of a transportable surface-mounted building site scale.
 
MSW – the modular steel scale
A special feature of the MSW is the steel bridge composed of disassembable modules. Each module is in turn divided into two segments, considerably simplifying both transport and assembly.
A long service life is assured by precision computer supported production and genuinely superior corrosion protection. A further benefit is easy access for cleaning and maintenance purposes  along the entire length of the scale by removing the centre cover panels, the load cells may be accessed from above.

In difficult mounting situations the MSW is a bonus due to its minimum mounting depth of just 50 cm when flush mounted (40 cm when surface-mounted).

In this case, too, the modular structure is a main feature allowing users to enjoy transport and handling benefits. The bridge module, run-on ramps and bearing plates, made completely of steel, make the otherwise usual concrete work for foundations unnecessary. Easy mounting without any major on-site preparations and fast re-siting are further benefits of this steel scale.

The steel panel design permits several mounting variants:

on load-bearing asphalt surfaces,
compacted ballast or

naturally, on concrete surfaces.
Frequently, the problem arises that a scale is required temporarily rather than permanently, be it for it short-term projects, large-scale building sites, road construction works or seasonal work in the agricultural sector: hiring instead of buying is the answer here! The mobile surface mounted steel scale MÜSW is available in bridge sizes of 12 x 3 m and 18 x 3 m.

We offer the modular MSW steel scale systems in standard bridge lengths from 5 to 21 m (with a width of 3 m).
